OK – agree not much point making a booking if only 2 people will join you.  John C will be disappointed if we call it off as seems likely.  I could arrive at 12 and leave a touch before 12.30 is that is any use but happy to give it a miss until next week.

Gil,
That may be a problem as I believe only the restaurant is open and they don't open for lunch until 12:00
I suggest that given the short notice and only two replies I will make the booking for Friday week 5Th November.
If you would still advise me of your attendance between now and say next Wednesday and I can make the booking for the 5Th
