        I spoke with Ronnie Clare earlier to day and she tells me that

        all went well with Johns operation.<br>

        The surgeon has indicated that there are no reasons for concern.<br>

        John was moved from intensive care this morning up to the ward.<br>

        However it is expected it will be couple of days before he is

        fit enough for visitors.<br>

        He now has very large scar to add to his collection.<br>
