Because they are not classified as mobile phones, the strict "no-touch" and mounting laws for phones do not apply to your radio microphone in the same way. </div><div dir="auto">However, Section 297 of the same regulation requires you to have proper control of your vehicle at all times. Emergency services are allowed to apparently.<br>
I allways use a 1/2 headset microphone while mobile with a
locking PTT<br>
<br>
In the don't do while driving advertising the state a Mobile Phone
nothing else I am aware off.<br>
But now they have cameras to detect using mobile phones, what
next.<br>
